Hemingford Abbots is a lovely, riverside village just off the A14, two miles east of Huntingdon and nine miles north-west of Cambridge. To view a map, click here.
Main line railway stations with access to London are available in Huntingdon and Cambridge, while excellent road links include the A1(M), A14 and M11, all within a few miles.
There are various bus services from the village to Huntingdon and St. Ives, where there are links to Peterborough and Cambridge.
The nearest shops, post office and banks are only a few minutes drive away in either Huntingdon or St. Ives where there are numerous restaurants and take-aways. The area boasts many pleasant pubs offering varying grades of meals including our own "Axe and Compass" which is less than a minute's walk from the cottage.
